This one I tried to do what people familiar with Wu-tang would call. Giving you a different chamber, spitting some darts. Lupe Fiasco a rapper who I happen to like.. I seen getting some praise on “oh he’s so deep” damn what makes him think like that.
Fact is I found that the average hip hop fan likes the lyrics not too deep but a little clever. I read in an interview he said , “I’m going to do this just to show I’m ill I am , I don’t even care if people get it” This was my intention here. This one is my baby in terms of lyrics. I secretly pat myself on the back because this one.
Basically I was taking a little break from music and I wanted to make a joint for the mixtape that represented my return. What better way then to emulate the master of the return, Jesus the Messiah.
For my sneakerheads I gave a lot of sneaker references that tied into my religious metaphors.
An example of this is the start of the second verse:

This is how you take the old testament and flip the word to give you the new god born in the new testament. Jewish people don’t acknowledge the New Testament.

In Mass you receive the blood of God/Jesus in the form of wine
I flipped the meaning right after saying not in blood
As in I’m not a Blood not a gang, but i have 12 apostles that I roll with

7 is the godly number , so I snuck the number of Jesus in there on the low and to give you
a clue that I’m talking about sneakers on the same time (on the sneak tip)
The number 7 is found on the Nike SB Lucky’s and my apostles follow me while I lead them to salvation
