I had put this on www.supersais.com ‘s blog before I took it to here, but I felt I might as well repost it here til I get my comp fixed and come through with some new audio. The new mixtape isn’t going to be Sais XXL as said at the end, but O2 as in Oxygen in Overachiever 2 as in Oxygen. Hi-jynx always wanted to do a joint together but we never got around to it til now. There’s another coming as soon as I get my ish together I’ll post it up too.

I was listening to the Buckingham Palace and remembered the killer buzz he had before his album dropped. Mad dudes, myself included thought he was going to take over with all the killer verses that came out. I remember at that time it was his verse from Beasts from the East and Cappadonna’s from Winter Warz that was the topic of discussion of that time.

The thing I really don’t remember is if chicks were feeling him. You could ask girls and they will give you the default. I like Jay or I like Nas, but memory may be a little skewed. I vaguely remember a time where rap wasn’t as partitioned into dance track/girl track/battle track, but that’s just me.

Ok, I appreciate when I get to see a bit into how an artist behind the tracks. I think that rapper’s put themselves into certain restrictions and sometimes are afraid to let their guard down due to the nature of Hip Hop. I even thought, should I even like do a track like Random MC if people are used to my more aggressive tracks? Well I always was a fan of mellow beats and always rapped over Luda when he this song was on the radio so I decided to rock it for the end.

Did a little of “Mesaisah” at the end for the fuq of it cuz I kept on saying the lyrics to this instrumental

She used to call herself Random MC when she freestyled to me.

This one was never supposed to see the light of day, real reason it was even on the myspace after a while because I wanted to make sure my message reached her. I originally gave this to her as one mp3 on my ipod with a gallery of pictures of us. Nothing really to say flow-wise over here. Maybe a bit of wit injected with the “I’m trying to put all my cards on the table, but I don’t want to be a player.” trying to get across that I wanted to have everything out in the open so we wouldn’t have to play the games that boys and girls do. Well the song didn’t work.

Everything else is very laid out pretty simple. A lot of references that would only really be known by me and her, but it all makes sense I assure you.

I didn’t expect this to be felt by the general public, but I have gotten a couple people that told me that told me that it was their favorite song or it helped them deal with their breakup.

When I first heard Black Republican, I was like OH SHIT !, cuz i remember when i was watching Godfather 2 ( my favorite out the trilogy) I fell in love with this part of the movie where The Godfather kills Don Fannucci (THe Black Hand) during this Italian parade. I always thought to myself man if i made beats I would make this into a beat. Same shit happened with Nas the message that samples Sting the shape of my heart , which you could hear at the end of the movie Professional if you want to go out your way.
